Through your usual eerie darkness, I still managed to find the funniest line: “with the dull persistence of a creature proving nothing.” The horror and doom persist, of course. Silas will probably note it down under “miscellaneous.” Smashing as always Gan x
I can always imagine the world and the characters that you build for the stories. They are relatable through their humanity even if their environment maybe different then the readers' world.

Immersive dialogue for sure. It felt like I was there listening, as the two shared their experiences of a world that slowly grew worse around them.

I’m stuck on Silas hovering over Chapman’s name... I hate how one tiny mercy almost happens and then the book takes him anyway...
